Rayform

Rayform vs World Labs

Generated worlds from an image or prompt, versus Rayform's reconstruction of what your sensors actually recorded.

What World Labs does.

World Labs' Marble generates 3D worlds from prompts and images, exported as Gaussian splats, collider meshes and panoramas. NVIDIA has published a workflow for bringing Marble worlds into Isaac Sim.

Where they are strong

  • Unlimited variety: a new world on demand.
  • A polished self-serve web app and public documentation.
  • Exports splats and collision meshes for game engines and simulators.

How Rayform differs

  • Marble imagines a plausible world. Rayform reconstructs the real one from your sensor data, with the raw frames kept to check against.
  • Generated worlds have no recorded motion, contact or robot state. Rayform keeps all three.

Side by side.

Choose World Labs when

  • You need many varied backgrounds quickly and accuracy is secondary.

Choose Rayform when

  • You need ground truth from your own robots: real geometry, real motion, real contact.
